About us

Lignum Imperium is a premium bow-making workshop representing the highest tier of recurve bows crafted by combining wood with modern materials. Our brand aims to create bows for amateurs, competitive shooters, and professionals alike—bows where tradition and modern technology meet in perfect harmony. We work with exceptional, carefully selected materials: combining stabilized and laminated wood species in the riser, while utilizing state-of-the-art high-modulus carbon and natural materials—such as bamboo—for the limbs. The result is a bow limb that offers a perfect balance of stability, extreme speed, and dynamic performance. The main components are manufactured using cutting-edge woodworking technology, after which an experienced craftsman manually fits and sands them to the limbs. Final adjustments are performed by a colleague who is a passionate archer; he fine-tunes every single bow with 50–100 shots to ensure flawless operation. For us, a bow’s draw weight is never a round number: we measure every finished piece at a 28-inch draw length and mark the resulting value with tenth-of-a-pound precision. This guarantees that every Lignum Imperium bow delivers exactly the performance its owner expects.
